Gautier FERRERO

Né en 1983, Gautier FERRERO vit et travaille dans le sud de la France. Suite à un Master de philosophie grecque à la Sorbonne, son questionnement trouve un écho dans les spiritualités orientales : Il se dirige alors vers la recherche expérimentale en anthropologie avec un Master sur le bouddhisme Zen à l’université de Nice, qui débouche sur une étude doctorale de la religion hindoue. Progressivement, le besoin de compréhension théorique se transforme en une volonté d’intégration intuitive … Un passage par le paysagisme le mettra en contact avec la sensorialité de la nature : une expérience dans laquelle se révèle son désir de créer, et qui ne cesse de nourrir son imaginaire. Son travail débute après l’apprentissage des bases de l’académisme à la Barcelona Academy of Art, suivi d’explorations personnelles.

Born in 1983, Gautier FERRERO works and lives in the South of France. After a Master’s degree in Greek philosophy at the Sorbonne University, his questionings find an echo in Eastern spiritualities : His research then takes the experimental direction of a Master’s degree in anthropology on Zen Buddhism at the University of Nice, followed by a doctoral research on Hindu religion. Progressively, the curiosity for abstract understanding transforms into an inclination towards an intuitive approach… A transition through garden and landscaping works will put him in contact with the sensoriality of nature : an experience that reveals his creativity, and keeps on nourishing his imagination. His work begins after the study of academical techniques at the Barcelona Academy of Art, followed by personal explorations.
